Noobder
Noobder is a Bouldering Contest for beginners, organized by a climbing gym from Iasi - Romania. The porpose of the contest is to to motivate and give to the beginning climbers from the gym the experience of a climbing competition, to accustom them with the rules and all the stuff that any competition involves, especially the mentall part.
The logo presents the name of the competition, the letters forming the shape of a climbing shoe, easy to recognize by any climber.
I also came up with the verbal identity of the contest - "Noobder" - that combines two terms: "noob" and "boulder". Usually the term "noob" is associated with video games, computers and internet and may have a negative meaning but it is also reffering to someone who is new to the game.
